Here in Ogasawara Village, we do not have a system to confirm Novel Coronavirus infections.
If you are suspected infection and need an inspection or medical care at the mainland Japan Hospital, access is limited.
We cannot ensure the safety of the visitors, here in this Island. And in the other hand, we must ensure the safety of our villagers.
So we may request all visitors staying in Ogasawara Islands to take basic precautions not to spread the virus, such as cleaning your hands with an alcohol-based handrub, maintaining at least 1 meter distance between yourself and others, and wearing a facemask.
